Country chic wedding by Wagner Bros. Photography, Walla Walla

This wedding, shot by Wagner Bros. Photography out of Walla Walla, Wash., used traditional details in a new way to create a truly unique occasion.

The bride and groom, Heather and Caleb, chose to gather inspiration from their shared love of ranches for their wedding. Originally, the ceremony was to be held at a farm, but due to weather they had to move it inside the bride’s church.

This wedding was done on a real budget. Like a Wed4Less swoon-type budget. The mother of the bride made the dress (talk about talent, right?), family and friends gathered to put the flowers together, and they struck a great deal with Shari’s for the pies that they served at their reception.

Wagner Bros. Photography shoots in a very traditional style with a lot of posed photos. Their photography is perfect for the bride who isn’t so keen on the recent surge in photojournalistic and overtly artistic photos.

Because Todd, the owner of Wagner Bros., does wedding photography on the side as more of a hobby, he can pass savings along to his brides. He charges just enough to break even with maintenance and materials costs. He usually charges about $500 for a wedding like this one. That includes all-day photo coverage, disks or thumb drives of all photos taken, complete print rights, and a set of proofs.
