Vintage, bed and breakfast inspiration shoot

The guesses are in. We announced earlier that we had chosen two winners. Are you ready to find out who they were?

This dress cost $30 at a vintage shop in Vancouver, B.C., making Ashley our pre-actual deadline winner with a guess of $89 and Sarah our post-actual deadline winner with a guess of $30 (on the DOT!). (My fault for not clearly posting that the contest was over.)

Remember, though, that the drawing is not over. You can still enter to win a bridal headband inspired by this shoot. Check out this link for details.

Now, for the rest of the most gorgeous inspiration shoot ever, sent to us via Two Bright Lights:

Jamie Delaine, a photographer from Surrey, British Columbia (just a 45 minute drive from Bellingham), shot this gorgeous inspiration collection to show how brides can accessorize a low-cost dress to make it look fabulous.

Jamie says:

“A unique bridal session was something I had been wanting to do for a long while. I was in Vancouver a couple of months ago at a vintage clothing store and found this amazing dress… for $30. I bought it, not knowing what I would do with it … “

We say:

“Gorgeous, Jamie, gorgeous.”

Don’t forget that though the guess-the-price contest is over, the social networking drawing is not! You can still enter to win a bridal headband. Head over to this post for details.

Contest Results

*****

Contest results: after some crazy guessing, and a surge recent guesses, we are declaring our contest over (it was technically over at midnight, but we were nice and declared two winners).

This dress cost $30. I’m not even kidding. That makes my $900 dress look like it should be sent to the queen. More details to follow with the inspiration shoot, which will be posted in a few hours. :)

ALSO: Because we only had two entries for our drawing for the other headband, and because those entries came from the same person, we are extending the drawing through the end of the week. It will end Saturday at midnight. To enter that contest:

  • like us on facebook
  • follow us on twitter
  • pin the previous post on pinterest
  • post about this on facebook
  • tweet about this
  • like us on StumbleUpon

Then, tell us about it by commenting either on this post or the previous one. Tell your friends!
